Automation Test Engineer — Boeing @ Tapestry Solutions
July 2023 – Present · San Luis Obispo, CA
I work on test automation at Boeing through Tapestry Solutions. When I joined, a lot of the QA tooling was dated, so I spent a good chunk of my time building a TypeScript/Playwright framework for API and UI end-to-end tests. Lately I’ve also been exploring AI agents that can draft Playwright test cases using context pulled from MCP servers.
I got pulled onto an internal AI improvement effort where I built RAG-based MCP servers in Python with ChromaDB and internal LLMs, trained on Jira test cases and team documentation. That setup helps with Playwright MCP exploratory testing and powers a documentation Q&A bot for newer team members.
Day-to-day workflows in Jira were slowing people down, so I built a Chrome extension in TypeScript, Webpack, and React that the QA team actually uses — about 10–15 people rely on it to turn Jira markdown into test code and to draft bug reports with AI-assisted duplicate detection.
Before cloud deployment and hardening work kicked off, I converted JMeter E2E scripts into load and soak tests, automated high-priority manual cases with TestComplete, and wired the suites into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

Short contract role working with business stakeholders to turn requirements into Figma mockups for website designs.
Lab Technician — California Polytechnic State University
Sept. 2022 – March 2023 · San Luis Obispo, CA
Worked in a physics lab on an atomic clock project. I migrated a legacy LabVIEW codebase to Python, which sped things up and made the measurement data more reliable. I also wrote reusable Python modules to talk to lab hardware and automate data collection.
